So Universal Studios Hollywood has added this new Super Nintendo World to the park. It features a ride based on the “Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge” game, interactive activities, dining options, and shopping. And let’s not forget the Power-Up Band wristbands they’re trying to sell you.
The “Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge” ride is supposed to be fast-paced like the game, but it’s actually slow-moving. The technology blending augmented reality with projection mapping is impressive, but the slow pace of the ride is just snooze-inducing. The dining options are overpriced, and the merchandise is just more stuff to add to your collection of things you’ll never use.
Super Nintendo World? More like Super Nintendo Bored. I’ve got better things to do than waste my time and money on this snooze fest.
