Well, this is just ridiculous. I don’t know what Six Flags Magic Mountain is thinking, hosting a Halloween event during Spring Break. Don’t they know that Halloween is in October?
This Scream Break after-hours haunt event they’re promoting just sounds like a nightmare to me. Who wants to encounter ghouls and monsters when they’re trying to enjoy their vacation? And what’s with the sangria blood bags and syringe jello shots during cocktail hour? That just sounds gross.
And don’t even get me started on the Tacos & Beer Fest. Sure, the food might be tasty, but what does that have to do with Spring Break? Why can’t they just stick to the usual carnival food like hot dogs and cotton candy?
I just don’t get it. Six Flags Magic Mountain is supposed to be the Thrill Capital of the World, but this all seems like overkill to me. Can’t they just let people enjoy their vacation without scaring them half to death or stuffing them full of weird food and drinks?
Maybe I’m just getting old and out of touch, but this whole thing seems like a bad idea to me. If you’re looking for a relaxing Spring Break, I’d suggest finding somewhere else to go.
You can find more information on Scream Break at their website, I guess.
