Oh my gosh, can you even believe it, Disney fanatics? The Indiana Jones Adventure ride at Disneyland has FINALLY reopened after what seemed like ages of waiting! Seriously, the anticipation has been intense. And guess what? I was there! Absolutely!
So, we’ve all been hearing these rumors about the refurbishment, right? And I was excited for some amazing new special effects, or maybe even a totally rad new animatronic. But you guys, brace yourselves, because the truth is out there, and it’s not what we expected! Are you ready? All they did was fix the snake. I kid you not!
No, seriously. That’s it. Just the snake. As in, one snake. As in, not even a whole new snake. Just a fixed version of the old snake. Like, what? I mean, yeah, it’s cool that they improved the snake, but come on, Disney! We waited for-uh-ever, and all we get is a snake with a little facelift? Are you even serious right now?
But, don’t get me wrong, I still had a magical time at the re-opening, because, duh, it’s Disneyland, and I’m a die-hard Disney fangirl! But, I couldn’t help but feel just a bit disappointed, you know? I was expecting to be blown away by some out-of-this-world effects, but instead, I was just hissed at by a slightly less janky snake. So, yay?
Anyway, other than the snake, the ride was pretty much the same as before. Which, don’t get me wrong, is still awesome, because, Indiana Jones, hello! But, I just can’t help but feel like we were all punked by Disney or something, you know? Like, I was expecting to be lost in a world of thrilling adventure, but instead, I was just lost in a world of slightly improved reptiles. So, that’s cool, I guess.
